PCVWH 7th Annual Symposium

– Registration Form –

We are honoured to invite you to the 7th annual Pan-Canadian Voice for Women’s Housing symposium. The registration form will take approximately 7 minutes to complete.

Background:
The Pan-Canadian Voice for Women’s Housing (PCVWH) is an annual symposium bringing together women from across Canada to discuss policy solutions with an intersectional and inclusive lens to make women and gender-diverse focused housing a priority.

The 2018 symposium developed Six Calls to Action that were presented to the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) to advise the National Housing Strategy. The six Call to Action inform the PCVWH and its journey to speak with, and for, those whose lives are historically and systemically outside those lines of privilege in Canada, including Black, First Nations, Métis, Inuit, women of colour, as well as women fleeing violence, queer communities, two-spirited people, and people with disabilities. Each year, the CMHC CEO attends the symposium. This year, Romy Bowers (She/Her), President & CEO at CMHC will be attending.

The 2023 PCVWH symposium will be held in Ottawa, Ontario on October 19 and 20, 2023. A total of 50 participants will join the symposium. Conference costs including flight tickets, hotels, and accommodation costs will be covered by the Symposium.

We recognize the time and effort you have invested in your application, and we want to assure you that our selection process is thorough and rigorous. We are looking for participants who demonstrate a strong passion to advocate for women’s housing and possess the skills, knowledge, and experience to contribute meaningfully to the discussions.
